This tiny leaf is the lone bit of seasonal color to be found in my yard. Everything else remains perpetually green, including the rest of the leaves on this tree, so this little guy is special.

It's funny that you post this....as I've been looking at the remaining leaves myself. I've been thinking about what makes each so special that its stays on the tree long past the others. There is something about seeing such an image, that really conveys a sense of loneliness and, at the same time, vitality.
